Transfer detection preferences

  1. Choose Edit menu > Preferences.

  2. In the left pane, select Transfer Detection.

  3. In the right pane, select the settings you want to use.Scan downloaded transactions for possible transfersIf you select this option, Quicken will scan your transactions as they are being downloaded to detect transfers between your accounts.Automatically create transfers when detectedIf you select this option, when Quicken finds a matched pair of transactions (a deposit in one account, and an matching withdrawal in another account), it will automatically create the transfer in Quicken for you.Confirm possible transfers before entering in registerIf you select this option, when Quicken finds a matched pair of transactions (a deposit in one account, and an matching withdrawal in another account), it will ask you to confirm the transfer before creating it in Quicken for you.

  4. Click OK to save your changes.
