View your LifeHub information in Quicken Classic

Quicken LifeHub is a companion product for Quicken Classic. When you connect your LifeHub account, your folders, items, documents, reminders, and sharing details appear on the LifeHub tab, next to your finances. No second sign-in, and no switching between apps.

You can view your LifeHub content in Quicken. To add, edit, or upload records, use the LifeHub app.

Connect your LifeHub data

Retrieve your records once to make them available in Quicken.

  1. Click the LifeHub tab.

  2. On the Overview tab, click Retrieve My LifeHub Data.

  3. Sign in to your Quicken account if prompted.

  4. Wait for Quicken to load your records.

Your LifeHub categories and items replace the connection screen.

Browse your records

The left panel lists your LifeHub categories with the number of items in each. Click a category to see its contents in the middle panel.

  • All Items shows every record in your LifeHub.

  • Contacts and Institutions appear above the grouped categories.

  • Personal contains IDs, Passwords, Medical, and Pets.

  • Financial contains Accounts, Bills & Income, Taxes, and Insurance.

  • Estate contains Home & Property, Legal, Will & Trust, and After I'm Gone.

Each entry in the middle panel shows the record name and its type. A paperclip icon marks a record with an attached document.

View record details

Click a record in the middle panel to open it in the Details panel on the right. The fields shown depend on the record type. A contact displays the name, role or relation, and email address.

To open the record in the LifeHub web app, click Open in LifeHub.

Click the arrow at the top right of the Details panel to collapse or expand it.

Search your records

Enter a name, keyword, or number in the Search box at the top of the LifeHub tab. Quicken searches every category, whichever one you have selected, and lists what it finds under Search Results with a count.

Search matches partial text in both the record name and the record's own details, so a search for an account number fragment or a record type returns the records that contain it. Click a result to see it in the Details panel.

To clear your search and return to the category list, click the X in the Search box.

Update your LifeHub data

The header shows the date and time of your last update. Quicken refreshes your LifeHub data when you start Quicken. To pull in your latest records at any other time, click the refresh icon.

Add an item

You cannot create or edit LifeHub records in Quicken. To add a record:

  1. Click Open LifeHub in the header.

  2. Click Add Item. The LifeHub web app opens in your browser.

  3. Enter and save the record in LifeHub.

Your new record appears in Quicken after your next update.

Manage members and sharing

Control who can see your LifeHub records from the LifeHub web app.

  1. Click Open LifeHub in the header.

  2. Click Settings (Members & Sharing). Your member settings open in your browser.

To open the LifeHub web app without going to a specific page, click Open LifeHub, then click Open in LifeHub Web app.

Review your security information

Click the shield icon in the header to see how LifeHub protects your data. LifeHub encrypts your data in transit and at rest, and supports multi-factor authentication and on-screen redaction.

If a category is empty

A category with no records shows No items in this category, and the Details panel shows No item selected. Add the record in the LifeHub web app, then refresh your LifeHub data in Quicken.
