Alerts & Messages preferences control which optional messages Quicken displays. Turning off these messages doesn't stop Quicken from showing critical messages about the operation of Quicken or its related services.

Choose Edit menu > Preferences.

In the left pane, click Alerts & Messages.

In the right pane, select the messages you want to see and clear the ones you want to turn off. For a description of each setting, see the table below.

Click OK to save your changes.
