Colors preferences

The Colors (Colour in Canada) preferences let you customize your Quicken experience by specifying the color of parts of the user interface. To set your colors preferences:


  1. Choose Edit menu > Preferences.

  2. In the left pane, click Colors. In the right pane, select the settings you want to use.

    Preference

    Description

    Background color

    Gray

    Sets a gray background color for your register and other areas.

    White

    Sets a white background color for your register and other areas.

    Graph and Chart Colors

    Default

    Uses the preset Quicken graph and chart colors.

    Custom

    Allows you to pick your own colors for your Charts and Graphs. Use the Preview button and select individual colors to see options for new colors.  Click OK when you are satisfied with your colors.

    Tab Color Scheme

    Choose from several color options that will display for your Tabs and some other user interface elements

    Dim disabled windows

    Select this to make disabled windows (including the main interface) darker than the currently open window. This is useful for keeping track of what window you are working in. 

  3. Select OK to save your changes.
