Continued improvements to the underlying technology used to connect to banks and brokerages.

IMPROVED - We're updating the infrastructure used to connect Quicken to financial institutions, making it more secure and reliable. This is part of a long-term rollout that started in the last release.
IMPROVED - We're also improving connections for specific financial institutions. Charles Schwab will be the first. More details to come.

Other improvements and fixes

IMPROVED - In the category list window we've added a way to quickly see used, unused, income, and expense categories.
IMPROVED - Continued to make Dark Mode better.
FIXED - Scheduled transactions will now appear in the Reconcile window.
FIXED - Fixed minor stability, quality, and performance issues.

6.4.1 and 6.4.2 Fixes

EARLY ACCESS - We've added a new Early Access feature for you to try out: Color Tags. If you turn this feature on in Preferences, you will be able to add color to your tags to help you better organize transactions. Since this is an Early Access feature, the color tags will only appear in Quicken on the Mac and will appear on the web or mobile. there isn't a way to create a color tag from the register, but we think it is still useful in its current form. Let us know what you think.
FIXED - Fixed an issue that slowed search in the Payees & Rules window on Macs with a Touch Bar.
FIXED - Added the ability for release notes to display properly in Dark Mode.
FIXED - Fixed an issue where the v6.4 What's New window wasn't appearing after launching Quicken.

6.4.3 Fixes
Charles Schwab account holders: Update now to continue downloading transactions from Schwab. We've been working with Schwab on a new, upgraded connection which improves performance, security, and reliability. You will need version 6.4.3 to take advantage of this new connection. The old Schwab connection will be discontinued soon, so please upgrade now.

IMPROVED - Made it easier for existing Schwab customers to switch to the new connection.
FIXED - Fixed an issue that could cause transaction downloads to fail, which caused the update button to spin indefinitely.

6.4.4 Fixes

FIXED - Fixed an issue where Quicken gets stuck when upgrading financial institution connectivity.
IMPROVED - Improved performance during the connectivity upgrade process.

6.4.5 Fixes

IMPROVED - Improved reconnecting to Schwab accounts. Fixed an issue where hidden accounts would cause the Schwab Reconnection alert to appear. Added the list of accounts that need to be reconnected or disconnected to the alert.
IMPROVED - Reconnected Schwab accounts will now maintain the existing Simple vs Detailed Tracking setting.
IMPROVED - Improved transaction updates to reduce occurrences of duplicate transactions.
