Backup settings
Quicken allows you to back up your data automatically, helping protect against accidental loss or corruption. You can choose between local backups saved to your computer or secure online backups stored in the cloud. From the Backup tab in Settings, you can manage how, when, and where Quicken saves copies of your file.
These settings apply to all files you open in Quicken and ensure that you always have a recent version to restore from if something goes wrong.
How to access backup settings
You can access both local and online backup options from the Backup tab in Settings.
To get there:
Choose Quicken menu > Settings.
Click the Backup tab at the top of the Settings window.
If Online Backup is enabled, you can also open the Backup Settings window by clicking the cloud icon (with a lock) in the title bar and choosing Backup Settings from the menu.
