Have Quicken check for recurring bills

Quicken can scan your past transactions and suggest reminders for recurring bills or income you haven’t scheduled yet.

This feature is useful if you often make the same payments—like utilities, subscriptions, or loan payments—but haven’t set up reminders. Quicken can detect patterns and offer to schedule them for you.

Use the Suggest Reminders option

You can ask Quicken to review your account history and suggest reminders for transactions that appear to recur.

  1. Choose Tools > Manage Bill & Income Reminders,
or select Manage Manual Bills and Income from the Bills & Income tab.

  2. In the Bill and Income Reminders window, select Options > Suggest Reminders.

  3. Choose Review my accounts for reminders to suggest.

  4. If Quicken finds likely matches, it shows a message:
"Quicken has listed transactions you seem to do regularly (Schedule These?). You may elect to schedule reminders for them."

  5. Select OK, then review the Schedule These? list and decide which items to keep or ignore.

The Suggest Reminders menu also lets you undo reminders you previously declined or clear all current suggestions.
