Quicken Password Error

This error usually appears when the password stored in the Quicken Password Vault is out of date—often because you've recently changed your Quicken ID password but haven’t updated it in the vault.

What to do

  1. Enter your current Quicken ID password
This is the password you use to sign in to your Quicken account—not your bank password.

  2. Click Sign In
Quicken will validate the new password and continue.

If prompted, you may be asked to update the stored password in the Password Vault. Doing so ensures your future connections work correctly.
