Password change required

Your financial institution is requiring you to create a new password for security reasons. This typically happens the first time you connect a new account in Quicken or after your bank updates its sign-in process.

What to do

  1. Create a new password
    Choose a password that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. Follow any requirements shown on screen—such as length or allowed characters.

  2. Enter the password again to confirm it.

  3. Click Next and follow any additional instructions.

Some financial institutions may ask for more information during this process, such as:

  • The answer to a security or challenge question

  • A verification code sent to your phone or email
