What Quick Pay payment statuses mean

Not Available in Canada

This service is unavailable for users of our Canadian products.

When you send a payment using Quick Pay, you can track its progress through payment status messages. Each status shows where the payment is in the process and whether you can still cancel it.

Payment Scheduled

The Payment Scheduled status appears after you schedule a Quick Pay payment.

The payment process can take up to three business days to complete. During this time, Quicken debits the account you enabled for Quick Pay, reviews the payment (which may take up to two days), and then sends the payment to the biller.

While the payment still shows Payment Scheduled, you can cancel it.

What you can do

You can cancel the payment.

Payment Processing

The Payment Processing status indicates that the payment is actively being processed.

At this point, the payment can no longer be canceled.

What you can do

No action is available. The payment is already being processed.

Payment Successful

The Payment Successful status indicates that the biller has received and accepted your payment.

The payment may take up to three business days to appear in the biller’s records.

What you can do

No action is required.

Payment Returned

The Payment Returned status indicates that the biller returned the payment amount.

The returned funds will be sent back to your account within three business days after this status appears.

Quicken does not receive details about why the payment was returned. Contact the biller to learn the reason.

What you can do

Contact the biller if you need the reason the payment was returned.
