How do I use Quicken's business guidance?
The Small Business Guidance feature in the Business & Personal tier provides access to practical business reference material covering key topics for small business owners. The content is published by Nolo Press, a trusted provider of plain-language legal and business guides.
This guidance helps you better understand day-to-day business topics like forming a business, setting up contracts, managing taxes, handling employee-related issues, and more. It's not legal advice, but it can help you make more informed decisions and identify when you may need to consult a professional.
The content is organized into categories such as:
Start & run a small business (e.g., licenses, leases, home-based business)
Employer’s legal handbook (e.g., hiring, wages, employee benefits)
Tax savvy for small business (e.g., deductions, recordkeeping)
Get more (additional Nolo resources)
Each category contains articles and subtopics you can browse within Quicken.
Note: This content is static and read-only. It’s intended to inform—not to guide data entry or interact with your accounts.
