How do I match my online accounts from this financial institution to my Quicken accounts?

Quicken can identify all accounts associated with your name at a financial institution, allowing you to link these online accounts to your Quicken portfolio.

Steps to Match Accounts:

  1. Select an Online Account: Navigate to the list of your online accounts at the financial institution and select one to link.

  2. Choose a Linking Option: Below the account list, you have three choices:

    • Match to an Existing Quicken Account: If you wish to link the online account to an already existing Quicken account, select Match to this Quicken account, pick the relevant Quicken account from the dropdown, and click Accept.
    • Create a New Quicken Account: To track the online account in a new Quicken account, choose Add new account to Quicken, enter a name for this new account, and then click Accept.
    • Opt-Out of Linking: If you prefer not to link the online account to Quicken, select Do not use this account in Quicken. This account will be excluded from updates and online payments, and Quicken will mark it as ignored. Confirm by clicking Accept.
  3. Repeat for Each Account: Go through steps 1 and 2 for each online account listed to ensure all desired accounts are linked appropriately.

  4. Finalize the Process: After assigning all accounts, click Next to complete the setup. Quicken will now use these preferences for transaction updates and online payments associated with these accounts.
