How to add, rename, or delete a folder for a saved report or graph

You can organize your saved reports and graphs in My Saved Reports by creating folders. Each folder can hold up to 30 reports or graphs. Use the Manage Saved Reports window to add, rename, or delete folders.

Before you begin

A saved report or saved graph is a customized version of a report or graph that you've saved to use again later. These are stored in the My Saved Reports list, which is available from the Reports & Graphs Center.

Open the Manage Saved Reports window

To begin organizing your folders, open the window that lets you manage saved reports.

  1. Choose Reports > Reports & Graphs Center.

  2. In the lower-right corner, select Manage Saved Reports.

Add a folder

If you want to group your saved reports, you can create a new folder.

  1. In the Manage Saved Reports window, click Create folder.

  2. Enter a name for the new folder.

  3. Click OK.

Quicken displays folders in alphabetical order. Folder names must be unique. You can create as many folders as you need, but each one can contain only 30 reports or graphs.

Rename a folder

You can rename a folder to better reflect the reports it contains. Renaming a folder does not move or remove any saved reports.

  1. Select the folder you want to rename.

  2. Click Rename folder.

  3. Enter the new name.

  4. Click OK.

Delete a folder

If you no longer need a folder, you can delete it. However, you must remove all reports from the folder before deletion.

  1. Select the folder you want to delete.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Click OK to confirm.

If the folder contains any reports or graphs, you must move or delete those items before you can delete the folder.

Finish your changes

When you're finished adding, renaming, or deleting folders, click Done to close the Manage Saved Reports window.
