Change your Quicken ID password
Your Quicken ID is used to sign in to Quicken and access connected services such as cloud sync, bill tracking, and mobile app support. For security reasons, you might want to change your Quicken ID password periodically or after a security event such as unauthorized access or a compromised device. This topic explains how to change your Quicken ID password from within the desktop software.
Change your password
Follow these steps to update your Quicken ID password in the Quicken desktop application:
Select the Edit menu, then choose Preferences.
In the left pane, select Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts.
In the toolbar, select Sign In & Security.
Under Password, select Change Password.
Enter your New Password.
Enter your Current Password.
Select a method to receive your verification code.
Enter the verification code.
Select Submit.
