Using auto-reconcile
For online accounts, you can automate the reconciliation process, letting Quicken Classic for Mac handle it for you. Quicken will compare your cleared transactions to your bank's reported balance and reconcile them automatically.
Note: Auto-reconcile is not required for tracking online accounts. The bank's transaction records are usually sufficient for financial tracking.
How auto-reconcile works
After each transaction download, Quicken checks whether the sum of your cleared transactions matches your online balance. If it does, your transactions are marked as reconciled automatically. If there's a discrepancy, you'll see a notification banner above your register.
Set up auto-reconcile for an account
In the sidebar, Control-click the account you want to set up.
Choose Account Settings.

Ask me to review a reconciliation before saving it
