Quicken Mac Help

Set Up Alerts

You can configure Quicken to notify you when specific financial events occur, such as large deposits or upcoming bills. Alerts help you stay informed without checking each account manually.

Alerts apply only to accounts checked in the Accounts tab under Mobile, Web & Alerts in Settings. You must have sync enabled to use alerts.

How to configure alerts

There are two ways to open the Alerts configuration screen:

  • Go to Quicken > Settings > Mobile, Web & Alerts, then click the Alerts tab.

  • Click the Alerts button at the top of the window, then click the gear icon in the top right corner of the Alerts page.

Once you're in the Alerts settings:

  1. For each alert type, check Enabled to activate it.

  2. Select one or more delivery methods: Email or Mobile.

  3. For alerts with thresholds (such as Large Purchases or Bank Fees), enter the desired amount in the Description field.

Email and text alerts are delivered to the contact information associated with your Quicken ID. To update it, click Edit Contact Information. If you prefer not to see alerts inside Quicken, check Do not show Alerts in Notification Center.
