Adding a business logo
You can personalize your invoices and estimates by adding a business logo. A logo helps reinforce your brand and gives your documents a more professional appearance.
Consider adding a logo to:
Present a consistent and recognizable brand
Build trust with clients and customers
Make your invoices and estimates look more polished
Distinguish your business from personal accounts
The logo you upload will appear on all new invoices and estimates associated with your business.
Before you begin
Make sure your logo is saved as a PNG or JPG file. For best results:
Use an image that fits well within a 3:1 aspect ratio (approximately 4.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall).
Avoid tall or square images, which may appear distorted or cut off.
Quicken automatically resizes the image to fit the invoice layout.
Add your logo to the business profile
Go to the Business tab.
Select Manage Businesses, then choose Edit My Business.
On the General tab, find the Invoice Logo field.
Click the folder icon to open a file picker.
Select your PNG or JPG logo file, then click Open.
To remove a logo later, return to this screen and click the X next to the file name.
Your selected file name appears next to the logo, and the image is saved with your business profile.
Where your logo appears
Your logo will appear in:
Printed invoices and estimates
PDF versions of invoices
Emailed invoices
Note: The logo does not appear in the on-screen invoice editor but is included in the final output. This is expected behavior.
Troubleshooting logo issues
If your logo isn’t displaying as expected:
The logo is missing on printed or PDF invoices
Double-check that you've added the image file using the Invoice Logo field in the Edit My Business window. If the file was moved or deleted from your system, it may not render correctly. The logo looks stretched or blurry
Check that your image uses a 3:1 aspect ratio and has a resolution close to 1350 × 450 pixels. Oversized or unusually shaped images may not scale well. You can't upload a file
Confirm that the file is in PNG or JPG format. Other file types like PDF or TIFF aren’t supported. The logo doesn’t update on existing invoices
Logo changes only apply to invoices created after the logo was updated. Older invoices retain the previous design.
