What if Quicken downloads transactions which are duplicates of existing register entries?
After you download transactions and account balances for your account, Quicken uses a matching process called compare to register to avoid the potential of duplicate entries. Under most circumstances, your register entry would be recognized and the duplication problem would not occur.
