"The transaction about to be reversed is not in your transaction list" when comparing and accepting downloaded transactions
This message appears when you try to accept a downloaded reversal transaction, but Quicken can’t find the original transaction it’s meant to reverse.
Why this happens
Brokerages sometimes send reversal transactions to correct previously downloaded entries. If the original transaction was deleted or is missing from the account register, Quicken warns you before applying the reversal.
What to do if you see this message
You can delete the reversal if you're confident the original transaction no longer exists and shouldn't be restored.
When the message appears, click Yes to delete the downloaded reversal transaction.
This prevents Quicken from applying a correction to a transaction that’s no longer in your data.
