Set up the accounts you would like to add into Quicken
Quicken updates account information for all active accounts at your financial institution. In the list displayed here, decide which ones you want to track in Quicken. Do the following for each downloaded account:
- On the left side of the dialog, find the account number of the downloaded account.
- On the right side of the dialog, under Quicken Account Name, select the appropriate item from the list:
- To track the downloaded account in an existing Quicken account, select the name of the existing account.
- If you haven't added the downloaded account to Quicken yet, select Add a new account in Quicken. Quicken opens the Name Your New Account dialog. Enter an account name and click OK.
- If you don't want to track the downloaded account in Quicken, choose Do not use this account in Quicken. In the future, Quicken will ignore this account when updating transactions. (Sometimes financial institutions display an inactive account here—choose this option if you see an account that you've closed at the financial institution.)
- Repeat these steps for all downloaded accounts. When you're finished, click Next.
