Setting up credit score access

Registering for a credit score report allows you to view your current credit score and receive regular updates. It provides insight into your credit health and helps you monitor for any changes that could impact your score. Viewing your credit score in Quicken does not affect your credit rating.

Terms to know

  • Accounts Bar: Located on the left side of your Quicken interface, listing your various accounts and tools.

  • Challenge Questions: Security questions used to verify your identity during the registration process.

  • Social Security Number: Required for identity verification. It is used only for this purpose and is not stored by Quicken.

  • Credit Score: A numerical representation of your creditworthiness based on your credit history.

To register for a credit score report

  1. Select Credit Score from the Accounts Bar.

  2. In the Credit Score window, select View next to Credit Score.

  3. In the form, enter your Social Security Number in the required fields. Select Continue.

  4. If prompted, answer the challenge questions accurately. If a question doesn’t apply to you, select None of the above.

  5. Your credit score will be displayed along with additional information about your score.

Your credit score will now be registered and updated regularly.


This feature is not available in Canada.
