Credit score report update schedule
The credit score report in Quicken Classic for Windows is updated once every quarter. This means your score and the related data—such as credit usage, payment history, and inquiries—refresh four times per year.
When to expect updates
You can find the date of your next update in the Next update section at the top right of the credit score report screen. Until that date, your current credit information will remain the same.
Why updates are quarterly
Credit score information is supplied by credit bureaus, which operate on fixed update cycles. A quarterly update ensures a consistent refresh schedule while minimizing unnecessary data requests or disruptions to your credit monitoring.
What you can do between updates
Although the score itself doesn’t change until the next update, you can still take action:
Review the current report to identify areas needing attention.
Address any derogatory remarks or high credit usage.
Make timely payments to improve your standing for the next update.
Monitoring your report regularly and acting on it between updates helps you stay prepared and make steady progress toward a stronger credit profile.
